On September 29, 2025, Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) Trustees voted in favour of a motion to initiate a boundary review process involving:

  • Chalmers Street Public School
  • Moffat Creek Public School

New Southeast Cambridge Elementary School Boundary Review

The primary purpose of this Boundary Review is to establish an attendance area boundary for a new school currently under construction at 605 Wesley Boulevard in the City of Cambridge. The school is tentatively scheduled to open in September 2026.

Regardless of the Board of Trustees’ decision, there will be no changes before June 2026.

Public Information Session – November 12, 2025

The voices of parents, families and caregivers are an important part of the Boundary Review process. To help us hear from you, a public information session will be held:

  • When: Wednesday, November 12, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
  • Where: Chalmers Street Public School, 35 Chalmers St S, Cambridge, ON N1R 5B4

The meeting will be held in a drop-in, open-house format.
