Chalmers Street School Council Invites you to a Meet & Greet!

Come on out of Wednesday, September 23^rd for some coffee, tea and sweets…and a chat about your hopes for our school this year!

Dear parents,

This year, Chalmers Street School Council has lost three of its members to other schools, which means we will have only a handful of volunteers to help improve the learning environment for our children. Being a member of School Council does not require that you attend every meeting, or that you participant in every project. We just need fresh ideas and volunteers who are willing to take on one or two tasks each school year, based on the amount of time each individual can commit.

Please consider joining us for our first meeting next Wednesday, September 23^rd at 6:30 p.m. in the library…no strings attached. We only ask that you come with a positive attitude and an open mind. We are confident that you would find it an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

The first item of business at this first meeting of the year will be to nominate our School Council Chair. If you have strong leadership qualities, ambitions for a greater Chalmers Street P.S., and are open to the ideas of others, please consider putting your name in for this important role.
