We are excited to share with you our plan to welcome families back to Chalmers Street Public School for a brief drop in to connect with your teacher, retrieve personal items along with your Report Card and to return any WRDSB materials such as Chromebooks, home reading books, library books etc. 

Our teachers will be stationed at a table outside of their regular classroom windows following our Day 1 schedule. A Chalmers Staff member will be at the tables from 9:20am-3:40pm. Try to avoid nutrition breaks (11:20am-12:00pm and 2:00-2:40pm) as your classroom teacher may not be there. 

Here is the Chalmers End-of-Year Visit Map  Chalmers End of Year Map  that shows the outside areas of our school where your teacher will be located on Friday, June 25/2021. You will only need to go to that location as everything will be done there. If you are a student who has participated in Distance Learning and aren’t attached to a classroom at Chalmers, please return the chromebooks and other materials to Portable #1 (Mr. Harland will be there to collect them).

We have all worked very hard to try to stop the spread of COVID and will continue to do our part. As per Public Health’s direction, please complete the
Covid-19 School and Child Care Screening before coming to the school, wear a mask and respect a physical distance of 2 metres. There will be pylons and staff to help you.

There will not be space in the parking lot for vehicles so walk if you can or park on the streets where allowed.
